Care Connect First Use Instructions

IT created your login information. You will have to reset your Network/Citrix password and complete the MFA process before you can access CareConnect for security purposes. Once these are done the first time, the subsequent logins are much easier! If you are having trouble you can contact the helpdesk at 800-947-4108, please make sure to let them know you are an external user (not a Beacon employee).

Service/CareConnect User ID: XXXXXXX & Service/CareConnect Password: XXXXXXX

First go to https://link.zixcentral.com/u/7d9c926c/JKF6TKiT6hGBdQzYhnsoMg?u=https%3A%2F%2Fadfs.beaconhealthoptions.com%2Fadfs%2Fls%2FIdpInitiatedSignon.aspx You will need to login in using your Citrix user id with @beaconhealthoptions.com added to it (xxxxxxxx@beaconhealthoptions.com) and the xxxxxxx Password. This should prompt you to change your password to your own secure password.

Next you will have to set up for MFA using these instructions: This step is required for continued access to Citrix & CareConnect.

  • After you MFA is setup you can expect when logging into Beacon resources, you may be asked to verify your identity through the preferred contact method you selected.

Once you have created your secure Citrix password and set up your MFA you should be able to go to https://link.zixcentral.com/u/83fa4173/WHx6TKiT6hGuHAzYhnsoMg?u=http%3A%2F%2Fportal.beaconhealthoptions.com and log into Citrix and then CareConnect. We have found the Chrome works better than Internet Explorer during this step. Some users have received error messages when accessing through Internet Explorer. When you log in this time you will no longer add the (@beaconhealthoptions.com) after xxxxxxxx. This is the link you will utilize to access CareConnect through Citrix, so you don’t need to complete those other steps each time. Your CareConnect User ID and password are listed above.

    The new password emailed to me by Beacon is not working in the portal. Error message "incorrect credentials" even with the password they gave me.
